European Journal of Histochemistry - Special Issue on "Advances in neuromorphology in health and disease"
Dear member of G.I.S.N.,
this is to inform you that in 2021 the European Journal of Histochemistry will publish a special issue on Advances in neuromorphology in health and disease, guest-edited by Prof. GianCarlo Panzica (Department of Neuroscience, Università di Torino) and Prof. Fabrizio Michetti (Department of Neuroscience, Università Cattolica del S. Cuore, Roma).
This special issue originates from the 30th National Conference of the Gruppo Italiano per lo Studio della Neuromorfologia-G.I.S.N. (https://www.ejh.it/index.php/ejh/article/view/3200) but is open to all scientists in the field; its objective is to illustrate the current progress on new approaches to investigate the central and peripheral nervous system, and their physio-pathological correlations.
Contributions may range from novel microscopy techniques to applications in neuroscience and in animal or cellular models of neurological diseases, including studies of correlation between environment and plasticity of neural circuits.
Letters of interest must be addressed to the Guest Editors, Prof. Giancarlo Panzica (e-mail: firstname.lastname@example.org) or Prof. Fabrizio Michetti (e-mail Fabrizio.Michetti@unicatt.it), and the manuscripts should be submitted via the journal submission system, choosing Journal section “Special Issue - Advances in neuromorphology in health and disease”).
The deadline for manuscript submission is April, 30, 2021.
The accepted articles will be granted a specially reduced Article Processing Charge.
Please disseminate this information among your national and international colleagues that are involved in the neuromorphology field.
Thank you for your attention and best regards,
